Personality

Reina is someone who is socially inhibited. She has a fear to approaching, befriending people, or being the center of attention. Outwardly, she is quiet because of her inhibition and due to this, Reina is often teased by the other Arrancar.
Putting that aside, she is a very loyal, respectful and trustworthy person who will diligently follow the orders of her superior. She's also known to be knowledgeable and extremely compassionate (towards her close friends). Reina despises engaging in combat even when ordered to, unless it involves self-defence and/or protecting those dear to her. Even then, she is still hesitant to cause any permanent damage.

Likeability: Reina would be very likeable if she were more outgoing, but as she is very shy natured, most tend to ignore her.
Competence: If given a task, Reina will complete it to the best of her abilities as she is very hard-working and loyal.


Background

Reina was born in the heart of Karakura town under the name of Kaminari Tatsu, with her mother Suzume, her father Ryuu and her older brother Sora. Shortly after Tatsu's 13th birthday, Suzume became ill. With Ryuu tending to Suzume all hours of the day and her brother busy with college, Tatsu became isolated, constantly worried about her mother's well-being.
At school she was also withdrawn from her classmates, sitting by herself whenever possible. Although she didn't enjoy being at school her grades were of an excellent standard. Ikeda Ayame, the new school transfer student, took an instant liking to Tatsu. Ayame tried so hard every day to make Tatsu happier, and eventually succeeded. The two girls soon became good friends, going through high school together. They finished school on a high, doing well in their exams – both getting into college, separate colleges however.
During the summer, Tatsu and Ayame planned to meet up one last time to say their goodbyes. That day soon came and Tatsu was on her way to meet Ayame for the last time. As she approached the entrance to the park, she witnessed Ayame arguing with someone, Tatsu slowed down her pace and kept her distance. As she got closer, she realized that Ayame was not arguing, but struggling and in the midst of being attacked. Tatsu panicked. As her friend was being dragged away adrenaline rushed through her body and instincts kicked in. Tatsu ran to Ayame with an outstretched arm. The dark figure leading her best friend, her ONLY friend away, turned round abruptly and smacked her away, causing her to crash to the ground and hit her head. Ayame fought against her captors grip, desperate to run to her friend.
"Nari-ch~!" she cried before he covered her mouth.

What would have been the first day of the rest of her life, happened to be the last.

Resurrección: Reina takes on the form of a dragon-human hybrid; her eyes become slitted, her mask now resembles a full dragon's skull and she can now manipulate the wind as she pleases (see Resurrección Abilities below).

Resurrección Abilities

· Vientos de Roto (Broken Wind): Reina can create a powerful wind force, which will through cut anything that it encounters. This techniqe takes time to 'recharge' so the number of attacks are limited.
· Aire Clone (Air Clone): When in battle, Aire Clone creates the illusion of an exact likeness of the wielder, confusing the opponent as to which is which. The only floor in using this technique is that it uses up a lot of reiatsu so when her reiatsu runs low, the clone will start to disappear – making Reina weak andvulnerable.
